Grilled beef and chicken, muenster, tomato, green beans, avocado spread, and a little heat on fresh, round Chilean bread. The Arch Street original that turns a lunch break into a standing appointment. Tonight, it's coming home with you.
Pastrami, Swiss, coleslaw, and chipotle honey mustard, pressed on an Italian sesame roll. Smoky, tangy, and unapologetically stacked. Sam LaGrassa's has been feeding downtown Boston since 1968. They know the assignment.
Chicken, basil pesto, and tomato in a fresh sub roll. Al's is the downtown lunch-line classic: generous portions, quick hands, and a sandwich that actually fills you up. We bring that same energy to the commute home.
A fried egg, sausage, and housemade pimento cheese on a toasted Flourhouse English muffin. The Bay Village sandwich shop knows its way around an egg. We don't see any reason to stop eating it when the clock hits noon.
Achiote chicken, guacamole, crunchy jicama, and greens on focaccia. A bright, generous sandwich from the bakery you probably already trust with breakfast. Save room for something sweet if you want. Dinner's handled.
Herbed chicken salad with raisins, marinated cucumbers, baby lettuce, and green herb dressing on housemade multigrain. Fresh, herby, and full of crunch. Tatte makes a very good case for having your usual for dinner.
Bon Me's take on the bánh mì: a baguette packed with savory filling, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, cilantro, and spicy mayo. Big crunch, bright flavor, and exactly the kind of sandwich you want in your bag on the way home.
Slow-roasted beef, crispy shallots, sharp cheddar, and Thousand Island on brioche. Cutty's keeps the menu tight and the sandwiches serious. This is the one that makes a trip to Brookline Village feel entirely reasonable.
A melty three-cheese blend, housemade guacamole, and applewood-smoked bacon on golden, buttered sourdough. Roxy's took grilled cheese out of the kids' menu and gave it a food truck. We're glad they did.
Thin-sliced roast beef, James River BBQ sauce, American cheese, and mayo on a grilled sesame roll. A North Shore classic from the Revere Beach name that helped put roast beef sandwiches on the map.
